Legume Alliance work shared at AGRF conference 2016

Member of the ASHC delivery team joined other CABI colleagues to host a stand at the recent Africa Green Revolution Forum 2016 – in Nairobi, Kenya. This was an ideal opportunity to share the progress on the Legume Alliance work in Tanzania. James Watiti, project manager for ASHC, said: “The African Green Revolution Forum is a unique event which brings together all the key players in the development sector. CABI took a large stand and shared several areas of work, but the ASHC team was there explaining the progress on SILT, UPTAKE and GALA

At the beginning of ASHC, we set out our stall at the AGRF 2012 in Arusha, Tanzania. It was really good to have a visit from Ken Giller who could see how far we had come in the past four years.”

Ken added: “It was great to wander into the booth and see the ISFM manual and other things we have contributed to – and to show my colleagues that Wageningen University has a strong presence in the work of the Legume Alliance and the Africa Soil Health Consortium.
