Banana agronomy story chart – Runyakitara

Summary:

The banana story chart in Runyakitara targets trainers in ISFM in Uganda and highlights good agronomic practices for banana production. It focusses on two characters, Annet and Fred, banana farmers who are intent on increasing their yield. They come across Peter, a successful banana farmer who invites them to his farm and offers them sound advice on improving their banana crop.

It was developed in partnership with the National Agricultural Research Organisation (NARO),  Bioversity, IITA, extension and farmer representatives, using a writeshop process.
