ASHC fact-finding trip to Ethiopia

Duration: 15-22 September 2013


Objective: Meet with stakeholders at the Ethiopian Institute for Agricultural Research (EIAR), discuss potential collaboration between the EIAR and ASHC. Discuss initial preparation activities under the Optimizing Fertilizer Recommendations for Africa (OFRA) that has recently been funded by AGRA covering thirteen countries in the region. The trip will explore linkages with Ethiopia’s own similar project funded by AGRA. Conduct site visits to faba bean, soybean and chick pea demonstration sites outside Addis Ababa.
