Roots and tuber crop pests and diseases – summary cards
These summary cards have information on the most important pests and diseases affecting roots and tubers by smallholder farmers in Africa. They are based on the crop pests and diseases manual covering crops such as cereals (maize, millet, sorghum, rice), legumes (groundnuts, beans and cowpeas) roots and tubers (cassava, sweet potato, yam) and banana.
For each pest or disease, information is provided on how to recognise the problem and manage it.
A team of plant health experts has compiled this information; in doing so they have drawn upon the latest research and information available in 2015.
